My Aunt's book on her recovery from cancer.
After four years of study, I earned a Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, after which I obtained my acupuncture license. In addition, I also became board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine from the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Wanting to get to the root of this medicine, I then went to China to the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou for advance studies and to work in their hospitals. It was a great experience. I worked in a variety of hospitals, including specialty areas of gynecology, musculoskeletal, and digestive disorders.

Since then I have continued to take continuing education classes in all areas of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture.

Since obtaining my acupuncture license in 1997, I have worked in a variety of medical clinics treating many patients with a host of medical conditions. I am confident that my treatments will be able to get you on the pathway to wellness.
Hi, my name is Elie Goldschmidt and I am a licensed acupuncturist.

I was introduced into the holistic health field at a young age through my Aunt who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She had stopped all western medicine, radiation and chemotherapy, and began a strict Macrobiotic diet and holistic lifestyle change.  In under a year, her cancer was in full remission. I was strongly affected by this and started to change the way I ate and began reading books on holistic health.
At 18, I went to study holistic health at Massachusetts'  Kushi Institute. There I learned about Oriental medical theory, food and nutrition, natural foods cooking, and shiatsu massage.

Then I went to Switzerland to get certified in Shiatsu massage at the International school of Shiatsu and
Holistic Studies.

I began to offer my clients fitness training and shiatsu, along with natural food meals I learned from my cooking classes.

After completing my undergraduate requirements, I  enrolled in Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in
San Diego, California.
