About 6 years ago my daughter told me she wanted to become an acupuncturist. I tried to talk her out of it because I felt she could do better as a registered nurse. When I told her so, I got an earful about how discouraged she had become with conventional medicine. That afternoon she told me that in the United States alone, over 17,000 people die every year just from taking non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. These are over-the-counter drugs we commonly take, like ibuprofen and naproxen. She also told me that over 2 million people each year become sick from toxic reactions to correctly prescribed and correctly taken pharmaceutical drugs. Well, after hearing that you could imagine my reaction. I gave her my blessing and knew she would do well because she had a passion for alternative medicine.

Today Christina runs a successful acupuncture practice in Orlando, FL. She helps people with chronic pain and many other ailments get off prescription drugs with safe, natural and effective acupuncture treatments. As for me, I have gained a tremendous amount of respect for Chinese medicine.
